Let’s talk about another one of our favorite Disney World Quick Service restaurants!

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue is located in the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot. It’s a quick service spot with solid food choices at a great value.

Regal Eagle is loosely inspired by the Muppets, featuring Sam the Eagle as he hosts a Centennial BBQ Cook-Off. You’ll notice some of the Muppets have entered the competition, and their pictures are displayed around the dining room—they’re really fun to see.

Now, before you roll your eyes at this blog… I get it. There are so many amazing food options in Epcot, especially in the World Showcase, so why would you want BBQ from the American Pavilion? Just trust me—my entire family loves it. Sometimes you just want something you know is consistently good.

I wouldn’t say we’re big BBQ fans, but Regal Eagle is a favorite of ours in Epcot. There’s something for everyone, even if you’re picky or don’t eat BBQ. They also offer an extensive allergy-friendly menu.

As you walk up to Regal Eagle, you’ll notice a small bar just outside, and we highly recommend stopping here. They offer a variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic options, with our favorite being the Frozen Iced Tea Lemonade—a refreshing and perfectly sweet treat. There is a version with alcohol as well.

The bar also serves specialty cocktails, along with beer, cider, and wine (some of which are also available inside the restaurant). Edward’s favorite is the Moonshine Sour, made with Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine, blood orange, blackberry, and lemon.

The walk-up bar in front of Regal Eagle serves Audrey’s favorite: the Frozen Iced Tea Lemonade.

Regal Eagle currently offers Mobile Ordering and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There’s a self-serve drink station with free refills and four different BBQ sauces you can sample—they’re all delicious!

We’ve tried many things off the menu at Regal Eagle, and everything has been good. Let’s dig into our favorites!

Edward’s absolute favorite is the BBQ Burger—a burger on garlic toast, topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring, served with a side. He always chooses their onion rings, and they are so good!

Other side options for adult meals include baked beans, coleslaw, french fries, mac and cheese, or Brewmasters Fries.

Audrey sometimes gets the kids’ cheeseburger, which she admits is basic but decent. It comes with two sides, and she typically chooses the onion rings and fries. Other side options include watermelon and baked beans.

The kids’ meal also comes with a drink, with options like milk, soda, lemonade, bottled water, Powerade, or apple juice.

My favorite thing to order is the kids’ chicken salad, which features chilled pulled chicken on mixed greens with fresh citrus fruit, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. It comes pre-dressed with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette, and I usually request an extra small cup on the side. This is a very refreshing meal on a hot day.

The salad comes with two sides—options include french fries, mac and cheese, or baked beans. I usually choose baked beans and mac and cheese. It also includes a drink and is plenty of food for an adult.

We’ve heard that the Banana Pudding and S’mores Brownie are delicious, but we’re usually too full to try them—or we’re eager to explore other offerings around Epcot.

Money-Saving Tip: Unless you’re on the Disney Dining Plan or at a buffet or prix-fixe/character meal, anyone can order from the kids’ menu.

Regal Eagle is a great value, and the dining room usually isn’t too busy if you dine at off times, which makes for a much more pleasant atmosphere. Since it’s quick service, no reservation is needed, and with Mobile Ordering, it’s even more convenient.

So, if you find yourself in Epcot craving something simple and looking for a bit of air conditioning, head over to Regal Eagle Smokehouse—and let us know what you think!
