Connections Eatery is a newer quick-service restaurant located in the World Celebration area of EPCOT (formerly Future World). After several visits, it has quickly become one of our favorites since it opened in April 2022. The food is consistently delicious and a great value. It replaced the former quick-service location, Electric Umbrella, which closed in 2020, and it’s a vast improvement.
Disney describes Connections Eatery as, “Take your taste buds on a tour around the world with dishes inspired by Italian, French, and Asian cuisines.” The restaurant offers a variety of options, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. It’s definitely a more elevated quick-service option compared to most, and the menu also includes plant-based and gluten-free choices, as well as a kids’ menu.
One of the standout features of Connections Eatery is its location. It’s in a prime spot to watch the monorail pass by, providing a fun backdrop while you enjoy your meal. The theming is modern and sleek, with plenty of natural light and a spacious seating area. You can also watch the food being freshly prepared in the open kitchen.
The restaurant has a few tables with charging ports, making it a great place to dine and recharge. In the same building is Connections Café, their Starbucks, so you can grab coffee or pastries at the same time. It’s also located across from Club Cool, which offers free samples of Coca-Cola products from around the world. All of these features make Connections Eatery the best quick-service option if you’re in the front of the park.
In terms of food, the quality at Connections Eatery is generally very good, and the portions are generous. The burgers are a popular choice, with the French Bistro Burger, topped with caramelized onion, bacon, brie, mushrooms, and Dijon mayonnaise, being the favorite. The pizza is also a solid choice and comes in a very large portion. Our personal favorites are the salads, which are delicious. The menu also includes milkshakes, beer, wine, and a few specialty cocktails.
Now, let’s get into the food!
The French Bistro Burger comes with caramelized onions, bacon, brie, mushrooms, and Dijon mayonnaise on a toasted brioche bun. It is very tasty.
The Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich comes with house-made pickles on a toasted brioche bun. It’s another solid and tasty choice.
The Pepperoni Pizza comes in a huge portion and is surprisingly tasty for quick-service pizza. They also offer Margherita and Cheese pizzas.
The kids’ cheeseburger comes with fries. It’s basic, but still good.
The General Tso Chicken Salad features a petite kale blend, romaine, broccoli slaw, red bell pepper, mandarin oranges, edamame, crispy wontons, fried chicken, and General Tso dressing. This salad is absolutely delicious.
The Liège Waffle is made with brioche dough and pearl sugar, topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. It seems simple, but it’s amazing.
If you find yourself in EPCOT and need something quick, tasty, and a great value, head to Connections Eatery. We highly recommend it!
